California High School Volleyball - Richmond edged by El Cerrito

The Richmond Oilers volleyball squad (Richmond, CA), was edged 3-2 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA)

With the win, El Cerrito improves its record to 9-5 on the season. The Gauchos travel to Albany (Albany, CA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 4. The Cougars enter the contest with a record of 12-8. Albany won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Hercules (Hercules, CA)

Next, the Oilers meet the Swett Warriors (Crockett, CA) in a Tri-County - Stone contest, on Monday, October 6. Richmond will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 5-13 record after their 3-2 league win over Vallejo (Vallejo, CA).
