In Wednesday's league bout, the Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons (Tyngsborough, MA) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Lowell Catholic Crusaders (Lowell, MA), by a margin of 3-1.

The Gryphons now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Groton-Dunstable for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2. Greater Lowell Tech will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Hudson (Hudson, MA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-4.

The Crusaders (1-10) will now prepare for their match against Innovation Academy (Tyngsborough, MA). The The Red Tailed Hawk go into the Commonwealth Upper battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Innovation Academy dropped by Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA), 3-0, in a league battle.
