Massachusetts High School Volleyball - Longmeadow over Minnechaug Regional

Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Longmeadow Lancers (Longmeadow, MA) and the host Minnechaug Regional Falcons (Wilbraham, MA), observed Longmeadow's volleyball team top Minnechaug Regional by a count of 3-1.

The Lancers (12-0) will now prepare for their contest against Agawam (Agawam, MA). The Brownies enter the Pioneer Valley - Northern battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Agawam achieved victory over Chicopee Comp (Chicopee, MA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Falcons now own a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frontier Regional for a Pioneer Valley - Northern battle on Monday, October 6. Minnechaug Regional will encounter a Red Hawks squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA). The Red Hawks record now stands at 4-8.
