Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Palo Alto upgrades its record to 12-6 on the year. The Vikings host Mercy (Burlingame, CA) to meet the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 8-8. Mercy lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA)

Next, the Trojans meet the Mountain View Spartans (Mountain View, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Milpitas will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA).
