In Wednesday's league match, the Weddington Warriors (Matthews, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), by a count of 3-0.
Next up, the Warriors confront the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 6. Weddington will attempt to better on its 14-4 season record.
