Next up, the Thunderbirds confront the Thornridge Falcons (Dolton, IL) in a Southland match, on Thursday, October 2. Thornwood will attempt to move on its 11-12 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 5-11 record after their 2-0 league loss to Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL).

The Pirates (5-19) will now prepare for their match against Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL). The Mustangs enter the West Suburban- Gold match with a 10-7 record. In their last match, Berwyn/Cicero Morton was tipped by Hinsdale South (Darien, IL), 2-0, in a league bout.
