Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Westview Wolverines (San Diego, CA) and the host Rancho Bernardo Broncos (San Diego, CA), observed Westview's volleyball team top Rancho Bernardo by a tally of 3-0.

The Wolverines (17-5) will now prepare for their contest against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers enter the Coastal (NCC) contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Carlsbad beat San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Broncos meet the San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA) in a Coastal (NCC) contest, on Friday, October 3. Rancho Bernardo will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record.
