The Rhea County Golden Eagles (Evensville, TN) volleyball knocked off the visiting Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN), 3-0 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Golden Eagles now possess a 14-14 record. They play next when they travel to Bradley Central for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2. Rhea County will battle a Bears squad coming off a 3-2 league win over East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN). The Bears record now stands at 23-7.
The Mustangs (10-20) will now prepare for their match against Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TN). The Wildcats enter the non-league match with a 13-6 record. In their last match, Sweetwater notched a victory over Maryville Christian (Maryville, TN), 3-0, in a non-league match.
