South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA), 2-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Gladiators confront the Charleroi Cougars (Charleroi, PA) in a WPIAL A 2 challenge, on Thursday, October 13. South Allegheny will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 4-2 league win over Waynesburg Central (Waynesburg, PA).

The Bulldogs now have a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monessen for a WPIAL A 2 challenge on Wednesday, October 12. Bethlehem Center will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 6-8.
