The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA) and the visiting Hayward Farmers (Hayward, CA), saw Tennyson's volleyball squad nip Hayward by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Tennyson upgrades its record to 1-7 on the year. The Lancers travel to Mt. Eden (Hayward, CA) to play the Monarchs in a bout on Wednesday, October 12. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

The Farmers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Arroyo for a bout on Wednesday, October 12. Hayward will play a Dons squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Tennyson (Hayward, CA). The Dons record now stands at 2-3.
