Community School of Davidson Spartans (Davidson, NC) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans confront the Pine Lake Prep Pride (Mooresville, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A challenge, on Wednesday, October 12. Community School of Davidson will attempt to move on its 7-8 season record. The Pride enter the challenge with a 16-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC).

The Raptor now possess a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln Charter for a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, October 12. Mountain Island Charter will confront a Eagles team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Christ the King (Huntersville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 8-8.
