The Concord Spiders smashed the visiting East Rowan Mustangs soccer squad by a margin of 8-1 in Monday's league match.
The Spiders now sport a 14-1 record. They play next when they host Central Cabarrus for a South Piedmont 3A match on Wednesday, October 12. Concord will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 2-1 league win over Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 8-3.
