With the loss, East Wake Academy drops to 8-6 on the season. The Eagles host Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC) to meet the Phoenix in a Super Six 1A/2A test on Wednesday, October 12. The Phoenix come into the test with a record of 5-5. Raleigh Charter won 2-0 in their recent league test against Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC)
