Franklin Knights (Franklin, PA) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights confront the Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA) in a District 10 Region 5 challenge, on Wednesday, October 12. Franklin will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 6-0 league loss to Warren (Warren, PA).

The Oilers now possess a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warren for a District 10 Region 4 challenge on Thursday, October 13. Oil City will confront a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Iroquois (Erie, PA). The Dragons record now stands at 10-4.
