Spectators at Monday's non-league contest between the John Marshall Monarchs (Glen Dale, WV) and the visiting Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV), observed John Marshall's soccer team hold off Magnolia by a score of 4-3.
The Blue Eagles now have a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parkersburg Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 11. Magnolia will face a Crusaders team coming off a 1-1 non-league Roane County (Spencer, WV). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-11.
