Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA) and the visiting Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA), witnessed Rabun County's softball squad prevail over Chestatee by a count of 17-9.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-18 record. They play next when they host Athens Christian for a 1A D-I Region 8 match on Tuesday, October 11. Rabun County will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 19-13 league win over Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-13.

With the loss, Chestatee moves to 10-19 on the season. The War eagles travel to North Hall (Gainesville, GA) to meet the Trojans in a 4A Region 8 match on Tuesday, October 11. The Trojans go into the match with a record of 14-10. North Hall won 13-0 in their recent league match against Madison County (Danielsville, GA)
