The Amelia County Raiders volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Franklin Broncos to 0 in the Raiders non-league victory on Monday.
The Raiders now have a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nottoway for a James River game on Tuesday, October 11. Amelia County will meet a Cougars team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 13-2.
The Broncos (4-9) will now prepare for their game against Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Cougars enter the Tri-Rivers game with a 0-14 record. In their last game, Surry County dropped by Northampton (Eastville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
