The Byrd Terriers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cave Spring Knights to 1 in the Terriers non-league victory on Monday.
The Terriers now have a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staunton River for a Blue Ridge game on Tuesday, October 11. Byrd will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-12.
The Knights now sport a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a River Ridge outing on Tuesday, October 11. Cave Spring will face a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 16-3.
