The East Surry Cardinals topped the visiting West Stokes Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cardinals now have a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Wilkes for a Foothills 2A test on Tuesday, October 11. East Surry will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-14.
The Wildcats (14-6) will now prepare for their test against Walkertown (Walkertown, NC). The Wolfpack enter the Mid-State 2A test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Walkertown gained a win over Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC), 3-0, in a non-league test.
