The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) and the visiting El Cajon Valley Braves (El Cajon, CA), saw Steele Canyon's volleyball squad beat El Cajon Valley by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Steele Canyon upgrades its record to 5-18 on the year. The Cougars travel to Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA) to play the Monarchs in a Grossmont Valley bout on Wednesday, October 12. The Monarchs go into the bout with a record of 2-15.

The Braves (16-12) will now prepare for their game against Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA). The Matadors enter the Grossmont Valley game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Mount Miguel dropped by Grossmont (El Cajon, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
