The Whiteville Wolfpack volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Fairmont Golden Tornadoes to 0 in the Wolfpack non-league victory on Monday.

The Wolfpack now possess a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A game on Tuesday, October 11. Whiteville will meet a Vikings team coming off a 3-0 league loss to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 0-15.

The Golden Tornadoes (1-17) will now prepare for their game against East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Eagles enter the Southeastern Athletic 2A game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, East Bladen defeated West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
