The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the St. Mary's Ryken Knights (Leonardtown, MD) and the host Pallotti Panthers (Laurel, MD), saw St. Mary's Ryken's volleyball squad beat Pallotti by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, St. Mary's Ryken upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD) to play the Mustangs in a Washington Catholic bout on Wednesday, October 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Bishop McNamara won 3-0 in their recent league bout against St. Paul VI (Chantilly, VA)

The Panthers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mercy for a IAAM B bout on Monday, October 17. Pallotti will play a Magic squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Roland Park Country (Baltimore, MD). The Magic record now stands at 14-2.
