In Monday's non-league contest, the Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Parry McCluer Fighting Blues (Buena Vista, VA), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Gladiators battle the Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA) in a Shenandoah contest, on Thursday, October 13. Riverheads will attempt to better on its 7-7 season record. The Storm go into the contest with a 3-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wilson Memorial (Fishersville, VA).
With the loss, Parry McCluer moves to 8-5 on the year. The Fighting blues travel to Alleghany (Covington, VA) to battle the Mountaineers in a non-league contest on Monday, October 17. The Mountaineers go into the contest with a record of 0-16.
