In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Wade Hampton Generals volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Mauldin Mavericks.
The Generals (20-7) will now prepare for their battle against Eastside (Taylors, SC). The Eagles come into the battle with a 11-13 record. In their last battle, Eastside nudged Greenwood (Greenwood, SC), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Mavericks clash with the Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) in a battle, on Wednesday, October 11. Mauldin will attempt to advance on its 11-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Emerald (Greenwood, SC).
