The Chase Trojans held off the host Patton Panthers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Trojans now have a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to R-S Central for a non-league test on Thursday, October 12. Chase will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Avery County (Newland, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 3-9.

The Panthers (1-18) will now prepare for their test against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Bearcats enter the non-league test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Hendersonville was nudged by Brevard (Brevard, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
