In Tuesday's non-league contest, the East Surry Cardinals (Pilot Mountain, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC), by a margin of 2-0.
Next up, the Cardinals face the Surry Central Golden Eagles (Dobson, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, October 12. East Surry will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the contest with a 3-16 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC).
With the loss, West Wilkes moves to 16-2 on the year.
