The Statesmen (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against McLean (McLean, VA). The Highlanders enter the non-league challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, McLean defeated Herndon (Herndon, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Herndon will attempt to move on its 1-10 season record. The Generals enter the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Wakefield School (The Plains, VA).
