The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) and the host Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA), saw Leland's volleyball squad beat Westmont by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Leland upgrades its record to 17-4 on the year. The Chargers host Leigh (San Jose, CA) to play the Longhorns in a bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Leigh won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Prospect (Saratoga, CA)

The Warriors now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Branham for a bout on Wednesday, October 11. Westmont will play a Bruins squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Prospect (Saratoga, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 8-8.
