The Louisa County Lions held off the visiting Monticello Mustangs volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orange County for a non-league test on Thursday, October 12. Louisa County will confront a Fighting Hornets team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 4-9.
The Mustangs (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights enter the non-league test with a 1-9 record. In their last test, Charlottesville was nudged by Goochland (Goochland, VA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
