The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Mayfield Wildcats (Mayfield, OH) and the visiting Riverside Beavers (Painesville, OH), saw Mayfield's volleyball squad nip Riverside by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Mayfield upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Kenston (Chagrin Falls, OH) to play the Bombers in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 12. The Bombers go into the bout with a record of 4-3.

The Beavers now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Chardon for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 12. Riverside will play a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South (Willoughby, OH). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 5-9.
