The Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwestern Randolph (Asheboro, NC). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 15-3 record. In their last challenge, Southwestern Randolph nipped Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Wheatmore will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Asheboro (Asheboro, NC).
