Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO), 5-3 in a league challenge.
Next, the Kadets confront the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Air Academy will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Thunder enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 2-1 league win over Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO).
The Rangers now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they host Cheyenne Mountain for a 4A Pikes Peak challenge on Thursday, October 12. Lewis-Palmer will confront a Red-Tailed Hawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lutheran (Parker, CO). The Red-Tailed Hawks record now stands at 8-1.
