In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Coal Ridge Titans soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Palisade Bulldogs.
The Titans (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Delta (Delta, CO). The Panthers come into the 3A/2A Western Slope battle with a 6-5 record. In their last battle, Delta Gunnison (Gunnison, CO), 1-1, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Glenwood Springs (Glenwood Springs, CO). The Demons come into the 4A Western Slope battle with a 8-4 record. In their last battle, Glenwood Springs was nudged by Steamboat Springs (Steamboat Springs, CO), 2-0, in a league battle.
