The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Thornton Wildcats (Harvey, IL) and the visiting Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL), saw Thornton's soccer squad knock off Kankakee by a count of 3-1.

The Wildcats now hold a 12-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bloom for a SICA test on Thursday, October 12. Thornton will meet a Blazing Trojan squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Blazing Trojan record now stands at 21-1.

With the loss, Kankakee drops to 13-7 on the season. The Kays host Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, October 12. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 5-12. Lincoln-Way West lost 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL)
