Vermont High School Soccer - Vergennes overwhelmed by Middlebury

In Tuesday's league battle, the host Middlebury Tigers soccer squad scored a close 7-1 triumph over the Vergennes Commodores.
The Tigers (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT). The Eagles come into the CVL test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, Mt. Abraham got by Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT), 2-0, in a league test.
With the loss, Vergennes drops to 3-5 on the season. The Commodores travel to Milton (Milton, VT) to meet the Yellowjackets in a CVL test on Friday, October 13. The Yellowjackets come into the test with a record of 4-5. Milton won 5-0 in their recent league test against Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT)
