North Carolina High School Soccer - South Brunswick held off by New Hanover

The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC) and the host South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC), saw New Hanover's soccer squad get by South Brunswick by a margin of 2-1.
The Wildcats now sport a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Laney for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Monday, October 16. New Hanover will meet a Buccaneers squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Ashley (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 8-6.
With the loss, South Brunswick drops to 1-11 on the season. The Cougars travel to Ashley (Wilmington, NC) to meet the Screaming Eagle in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Thursday, October 12. The Screaming Eagle come into the test with a record of 12-3. Ashley won 5-4 in their recent league test against Laney (Wilmington, NC)
