The Royals come into the contest with a record of 17-9. Bleckley County won 13-1 in their recent non-league contest against Telfair County (McRae, GA)

In their next game, the Herons play the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) in a 2A Region 3 contest, on Wednesday, October 11. Brantley County will attempt to move on its 6-15 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 13-7 record after their 8-0 league win over Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA).
