Nebraska High School Volleyball - Axtell tips Ansley/Litchfield

October 10, 2023: Ansley, NE 68814

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Axtell Wildcats (Axtell, NE) and the host Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE), saw Axtell's volleyball squad nip Ansley/Litchfield by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Axtell upgrades its record to 20-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Silver Lake (Roseland, NE) to play the Mustangs in a D1 District 6 bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 14-10.

The Spartans now own a 10-15 record. They play next when they host Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 17. Ansley/Litchfield will play a squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Loomis (Loomis, NE). The record now stands at 3-21.
