The Rowan County Vikings volleyball team (Morehead, KY), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY)

The Lions (27-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Huntington (Huntington, WV). The Highlanders enter the non-league challenge with a 12-10 record. In their last challenge, Huntington defeated Ripley (Ripley, WV), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 10. Rowan County will attempt to move on its 10-20 season record. The Tomcats enter the challenge with a 27-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over South Point (South Point, OH).
