The Carlynton Cougars volleyball team (Carnegie, PA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers (Houston, PA)

The Buccaneers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Crusaders enter the WPIAL 1A 3 challenge with a 14-1 record. In their last challenge, Bishop Canevin defeated Cornell (Coraopolis, PA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Bethlehem Center Bulldogs (Fredericktown, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Carlynton will attempt to move on its 9-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA).
