Patton will attempt to better on its 5-15 season record. The Bearcats come into the match with a 5-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC).

With the loss, Chase drops to 9-9 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to battle the Hilltoppers in a Mountain Foothills Seven 1A/2A match on Thursday, October 12. The Hilltoppers come into the match with a record of 6-16. R-S Central lost 3-1 in their recent non-league match against Avery County (Newland, NC)
