The Cherokee Indians volleyball team (Cherokee, AL), was dropped 3-1 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL)

The Eagles (17-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Russellville (Russellville, AL). The Golden Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 15-23 record. In their last challenge, Russellville defeated Rogers (Florence, AL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Indians meet the Phil Campbell Bobcats (Phil Campbell, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 11. Cherokee will attempt to move on its 8-11 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 12-19 record after their 25-8 non-league win over Tharptown (Russellville, AL).
