The Chiawana Riverhawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Richland Bombers to 0 in the Riverhawks league victory on Tuesday.
The Riverhawks now have a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennewick for a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia game on Thursday, October 12. Chiawana will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hermiston (Hermiston, WA). The Lions record now stands at 14-2.
The Bombers (9-4) will now prepare for their game against Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA). The Braves enter the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia game with a 14-0 record. In their last game, Kamiakin gained a win over Chiawana (Pasco, WA), 3-1, in a league game.
