The Croatan Cougars volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Richlands Wildcats to 0 in the Cougars league victory on Tuesday.

The Cougars now have a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Bern for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 11. Croatan will meet a Bears team coming off a 3-0 league loss to D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC). The Bears record now stands at 3-14.

The Wildcats (13-7) will now prepare for their game against Dixon (Holly Ridge, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Coastal 3A game with a 9-9 record. In their last game, Dixon dropped by Swansboro (Swansboro, NC), 3-2, in a league game.
