North Carolina High School Volleyball - Southside overwhelmed by East Carteret

October 10, 2023: Beaufort, NC 28516

In Tuesday's league battle, the host East Carteret Mariners volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Southside Seahawks.

The Mariners (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC). The Devil Pups come into the Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Lejeune lost by Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Seahawks clash with the Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC) in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle, on Thursday, October 12. Southside will attempt to advance on its 2-15 season record. The Trojans come into the battle with a 3-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC).
