The Fleming Colonels volleyball team (Roanoke, VA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA)
The Eagles (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Terriers enter the Blue Ridge challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, William Byrd defeated Staunton River (Moneta, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Colonels encounter the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) in a Blue Ridge challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Fleming will attempt to move on its 1-16 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Northside (Roanoke, VA).
