North Carolina High School Volleyball - Research Triangle routed by Franklin Academy

The Research Triangle Raptors volleyball team (Research Triangle Park, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC)

The Patriots (9-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC). The Phoenix enter the Super Six 1A/2A challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Raleigh Charter was dropped by NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Raptors meet the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns (Durham, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 12. Research Triangle will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Unicorns enter the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Raleigh Charter (Raleigh, NC).
