In Tuesday's league battle, the host Gananda Central Blue Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Marion Black Knights.

The Blue Panthers (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sodus (Sodus, NY). The Spartans come into the Section 5 Wayne County battle with a 0-10 record. In their last battle, Sodus lost by East Rochester (East Rochester, NY), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Black Knights clash with the North Rose-Wolcott Cougars (Wolcott, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne County battle, on Thursday, October 12. Marion will attempt to advance on its 4-7 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 2-12 record after their 3-1 league loss to Williamson (Williamson, NY).
