The George West Longhorns volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Taft Greyhounds to 1 in the Longhorns league victory on Tuesday.
The Longhorns now have a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host McMullen County for a non-league game on Friday, October 13. George West will meet a Cowboys team coming off a 3-0 league win over Benavides (Benavides, TX). The Cowboys record now stands at 24-5.
The Greyhounds (9-3) will now prepare for their game against Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX). The Panthers enter the 3A Region IV District 29 game with a 10-14 record.
