The Kemp Yellowjackets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Mildred Eagles to 2 in the Yellowjackets league victory on Tuesday.
The Yellowjackets now have a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blooming Grove for a 3A Region III District 18 game on Friday, October 13. Kemp will confront a Lions team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Malakoff (Malakoff, TX). The Lions record now stands at 15-15.
The Eagles (7-20) will now prepare for their game against Rice (Rice, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 3A Region III District 18 game with a 8-24 record. In their last game, Rice was nudged by Eustace (Eustace, TX), 3-1, in a league game.
